Anyone interested in becoming a member of our Department can do so by stopping
at the station located at the intersection of First Street & Wood Street in California.

Interested persons should be at least age 16 for Junior membership,
 or at least age 18 for regular membership.

Students at California University that are a member in good
standing at their home Department can apply for Student Membership.

No previous fire fighting experience is necessary.
(With exception to Student Members)

All equipment is provide for by the department.

For consideration as a member, you must live within our coverage area.
(California Borough, Coal Center Borough, Granville, Smallwood and parts of Daisytown)
